CrossKnowledge, one of the world's leading distance learning providers, has just been re-elected as a "preferred supplier" by energy management specialist Schneider Electric.

The multinational selected only 300 suppliers out of a total of 50,000. CrossKnowledge, the only company selected in the training category, has received this award for the quality of its training solutions and its e-learning content integration services.

Desire2Learn Incorporated (D2L)—the EdTech company that created Brightspace, the world’s first truly integrated learning platform (ILP)—announced that its parent company, D2L Inc., has closed an $85 million Series B financing round led by a large institutional asset manager with participation from Columbus Nova Technology Partners, Graham Holdings, Four Rivers Group, Aurion Capital and existing investors New Enterprise Associates and OMERS Ventures. Silicon Valley Bank also provided debt financing in this round. The investment brings the company’s total funds raised to $165 million.

Docebo, producer of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Enterprise learning management system (LMS), is unveiling two major new modules that work alongside its product to create an ecosystem. These new modules, that enable Coaching, Informal and Social Learning to be added to online training projects, are part of the latest release of the Docebo LMS. They are being revealed at Docebo’s booth (G10) at the HR Summit and Expo 2015, which takes place in Dubai from 16 to 18 November.

Docebo’s disruptive Cloud SaaS-based e-learning solutions platform has retained its sixth place ranking among the world’s top ten learning management systems (LMSs). The ranking comes from an annual, independent review of 642 LMSs by the internationally-known corporate online learning industry analyst, Craig Weiss, and published by E-Learning 24/7.

Claudio Erba, the CEO of Docebo, makers of the Cloud-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), e-learning platform, will be among the speakers at the HR Directors’ Forum, being held at the Park Inn, in Zurich, Switzerland, on November 3. At the Forum, having outlined the results of Docebo’s research into the trends in the E-learning market and forecast market developments over the next two years, Claudio will join a panel to discuss ‘The new era of connected learning and connected learners’.
