African education experts want to hear from anyone with innovative ideas about how technology can help transform the continent. The experts will be at eLearning Africa 2016 www.elearning-africa.com, Africa's leading conference on technology assisted learning, where they will discuss the role of technology in achieving the African Union's vision of a "transformed continent."

Telecoms giant, Telefónica, has standardised its technology-delivered learning materials thanks to eXact learning solutions’ learning content management system (LCMS).

Early in 2014, Telefónica UK’s learning and development professionals realised that all the company’s learning materials’ authors were creating content using a variety of authoring tools. As Asi DeGani, Head of Digital Learning at Telefónica UK, commented, “We were getting an interesting collection of content that was highly ‘creative’ but there was no consistency - or brand guidelines - about these materials.

Under a strategic partnership agreement between Safety Media and EDTRIN, EDTRIN will be responsible for the marketing and delivery of Safety Media’s training programs to global markets. It will also provide translation, localization and contextualization services.

Docebo, producer of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Enterprise learning management system (LMS), is unveiling two major new modules that work alongside its product to create an ecosystem. These new modules, that enable Coaching, Informal and Social Learning to be added to online training projects, are part of the latest release of the Docebo LMS. They are being revealed at Docebo’s booth (G10) at the HR Summit and Expo 2015, which takes place in Dubai from 16 to 18 November.

Speexx, the leading global provider of mobile and online language training, has won the APel Association’s Excellence in E-learning Award in the ‘Most innovative learning solution’ category.

Developed by the The Springboard Consultancy (SBC), a UK-based international training company specialising in addressing women's development issues, the programme is being delivered in Brazil by Corinne Giely Eloi, who gave up her job as a marketing director in a multinational company to run the Springboard programme.
