More than 30 countries from every continent will attend the XXI iEARN International Conference

(@americalearning) From June 29th to July 5th, the twenty-first iEARN International Conference will take place in Puerto Madryn (Chubut, Argentina), organized by Fundacion Evolución, under the motto: "Creativity, innovation,and global learning".

 

The event will be attended by representatives and delegations from more than 30 countries throughout the world, among them: Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Bonaire, Brasil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Israel, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Palestine, Pakistan, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Uganda, USA, Yemen. As well as this year's organizing country, Argentina, and the country in charge of the previous edition, Qatar.

 

 

The organizers have announced that the experience will be shared through social media, more specifically on Twitter, with the hashtag #iEARN2014.

 

Fundacion Evolucion has also pointed out that workshop proposals, iEARN project presentations, or posters describing a pedagogical initiative integrating ICT outside of iEARN network must be submitted to the following e-mail address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The three main topics of the conference will be:

  • Creativity: theories, theorists, and initiatives that promote the development of teachers’ and students’  creativity through different knowledge domains will be shared.
  • Innovation: multiple ways to develop didactic innovation in collaboration and integrate technological innovation will be studied.
  • Global learning: frameworks that describe and explain global learning and new ways to celebrate them will be explored.
